Amtech Systems Inc. Announces $3.5 Million in New Solar Orders
TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Amtech Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASYS), a global supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies for the semiconductor, solar cell, silicon wafer, today announced new orders totaling approximately $3.5 million for thermal processing and automation systems from the solar cell industry.
The new orders are from Asian-based customers, including approximately $2.5 million from an existing customer and approximately $1 million from a new customer.
Because orders are typically subject to cancellation or delay by the customer, orders are not necessarily representative of actual sales for succeeding periods.
